Women's Fellowship and Ministry

The Bethel Church Women are partners in the total ministry of the church and includes of all the women of the congregation. This organization affirms, supports and challenges women in their daily Christian life.  Team members meet throughout the year to organize events and programs. This women's group also financially supports various local and global missions.

Three groups meet monthly for Bethel Women's Bible Studies. Joy Bible Study meets the third Tuesday of the month at 9:30am in member's homes or at the church. Peace Bible Study meets the third Tuesday of the month at 7:00pm in member's homes or at the church.  The Anna Circle meets at Christian Homes at 2:00pm on the third Wednesday of the month. The women participate in traditional Bible studies, studying the Lutheran confessions and church history.

The Bethel Work Unit consists of women who make quilts. They meet in the church social room monthly except November and December. Tops for quilts are cut and sewn at home. Then the quilts are tied together at church. The women produce approximately 80 quilts a year to be given to missions.

Four Serving Groups provide meals and serve funerals, weddings, and other functions at Bethel.  All women of Bethel are assigned a serving group.

Bethel Book Club meets the fourth Thursday of each month in the lounge at 11:30am. The members of the club recommend a wide variety of books to read and discuss. All are invited to join this lively and close-knit group.  Members come from several area churches.
